Sakura stumbled away, eyes wide in horror, all the things she'd sealed into Itachi's mind now engraved forever into hers. Itachi made no motion to flee, and for a minute they remained staring at one another.

"You- you-"

"Yes," Itachi acknowledged.

He was as distant and impassive as ever in the silence.

"...Don't tell him," he pleaded.
