Day 10 - Why aren't these two married in real life?

Pass. Sorry, wishing characters and/or people would get married is just really not my thing.

Day 11 - What is your dream pairing?

Sounds kind of unclear to me, so I'll list traits I'm attracted to in ships, and then I'll see if there's a ship that fits all of these requirements, and then... I'll check if I like it as much as I should?

The ships listed are all the ships I can remember squeeing loudly about during the past year when I'm not directly watching the original material. As I've been known to emit high-pitched squees for ships of canons I don't give a damn about. (the links are to TVTropes.)

Grace/Anissa	Nice girl raised to be a doctor meets foul-mouthed bouncer	Equivalent of pigtail pulling.	And then Grace made Batman accept Anissa as a member of his Outsiders.	Outsiders			Grace was sublimating her attraction into bicker. Sweet smell of canon confirmation.
Haruhi/Kyon	SavvyGuy/EnergeticGirl otp!	and again.		somewhat.		well, yeah, but Haruhi's crush means that Kyon has the control.	See unequal pairing.
Ike/Soren	Sword-wielding general and spell-casting strategist		Soren's one interest in the war is serving Ike.	Sorry, a general and his strategist.		General and his strategist, again.	It was probably one-sided for a while on Soren's part, yes.		'Ike... Please live... Even if all the cities burn, and the seas swallow Tellius... You mustn't die... Not you... '
Indigo/Shift	♥		NEVER HAPPENED.	Outsiders	The little Nakama that could.			Sure, one's an AI and the other is The Tomato In The Mirror, but it's not like it's an issue!	I said, NEVER HAPPENED.
Ino/Sakura	As children, they contrasted, but since Sakura struck out on her own, they're more similar.	'Big ugly forehead as usual...'	Team Seven gets in the way.	Chuunin exam. Forest. Ino seeing Sakura like for the very first time.			Team Seven > old friendships. Sorry, Ino.	Sasuke was the focal point, and then there's still the Team Seven stuff, and there's the concern about being left behind.
Legolas/Gimli	Oh yes.	Oh yes, take two.		Yes.					And in the end, they built a ship and left Middle Earth together. N'awww.
Mai/Zuko	Mai is not high-strung like the rest of them.		'I love Zuko more than I fear you'.			Yeah, except that Mai calls the shots.
Mario/Aliera	Imperious daughter of the Dragon Heir meets debuting assassin...	...sparks fly.	Sure, she'll help him escape.		You got the part where she's the daughter of the Dragon Heir, right?			I think they're mostly ok, actually.
Micaiah/Pelleas	She's worldly, he's not? That's a stretch.		She'll do anything for her country, and he's the idealistic king. It works!	They're fighting to defend their country against the invaders.	Family is a theme for each of them, yes. It's complicated.	Ooooh, boy. He's the king, but she's more popular with the people. She'll obey him, of course, but he looks at her for guidance. And then there's the ending. It's complicated, okay.	He cares about her more than she cares about him.	Their country was going to hell in a handbasket, if that counts.
Micaiah/Sothe	He's her Lancer, of course they complement each other.	Lancer? Calling her out on what she's doing?	She'll do anything for her country, he'll attack her on the wtfuckery of it, and he'll stand by her anyway.	Same war as the one mentioned above. Plus they already were partners/family before.	She more or less took him in when he was a kid and she was afraid of getting close to people. Two misfits against the world!	Of course he's going to do what she says.		See the above.	Saying each other's name when you die: sort of a sign. Also, things like: 'Micaiah?! No! Without you... Without you, I...'
Molly/Jordan		They're both loudmouthed and short-tempered. Bound to happen.		Partners. It's a big thing between them.			The main character is not interested in the dogged nice guy. She has her eye on the Proud Warrior Alien Prince.	The ending. T_T TEARS.
Naruto/Sasuke/Sakura	Heh.	Sasuke wants you to know that Naruto is a deadlast and that Sakura is annoying.	Y	Y	Y		Sasuke is busy doing other stuff. Naruto is busy running after Sasuke.	Y	Hell to the yeah.
Neji/Hinata	Yes.		There's Naruto, there's the Hyuuga issues...		Main House, Branch House, and the history between their fathers. We were speaking about baggage.	Main House Branch House, again.	Hinata's Most Important Person is Naruto.	Y	Especially if they're Together Against The Hyuuga. They can only rely on each other, and given how powerful clans love having the village authorities get involved, the situation could become poisonous for them.
Ollie/Dinah	At least a bit, in that she's a martial artist and he's an archer.	They run on it a bit.	Their relationship has lasted, even with their issues. You can bet loyalty is involved.	Superheroes. That means regularly kicking ass together. Excuse me while I fangirl.	Arrowfamily!			A bit.
Parker/Hardison	:D		Nakama!	Nakama!	Nakama! And also they're both foster kids. They know about looking for a family.		It took a while for Parker to return Hardison's adorable crush.	Y
Parker/Hardison/Eliot	Power Trio.	Dammit, Hardison!	Nakama!	Nakama!	Nakama!			When you've got a trio and the freakin' bruiser is your best chance at psychological balance, you know you're in trouble.
Remus/Sirius	Yes. Just, yes.	Given Remus' deadpan snarkiness? I would hope so.	Loyalty and issues and loyalty to one another being in conflict with other stuff.	Order of the Pheonix! Marauders!	'going in the way of family ideals'. And Remus/Tonks.		In my personal fanon, yes, there was.	When they were teens, Sirius almost made Remus a murderer, and then there was a war and Sirius thought Remus was the traitor, and then it got worse.	Any chance at that was tragically smashed by the overwhelming trust issues.
Renji/Rukia	:D	:D	Remember that heatrbreaking scene where Renji tells Rukia to go for it! when he learns Byakuya wants to adopt her into the Kuchiki fmaily? That.	Nakama! They were Two Against The World since they were children, and then they abruptly stopped. Count me interested.	Again with the Kuchiki.		Renji is Not Subtle.	Probably.
Ron/Hermione	HI.	MY OTP.	Loyalty is a theme, though probably not what I love the best about the ship.	<3	Y		Basically, it took them seven years. That was quick.
Sora/Riku/Kairi	That's the thing with a power trio/three amigos/two guys and a girl/etc canon.		Basically, the plot.	They have their moments.					Again: basically, the plot.
Temari/Shikamaru	Check.	Check. ('Scarier than Mom'!)	Each is loyal to a different village.	There were rescues and diplomatic missions. But it's not a date.	If he still wants kids, that could be tricky.	She's older, more worldly, and a jounin. But I think they're equals in their relationship.
Zelos/Sheena	They're both complementary and not so different. Tomboyish, short-tempered, idealistic ninja and aristocratic cynical Casanova who likes to pretend life is a big party. Both with hidden depths and severe self-esteem issues.	Practically the raison d'être of their interactions.	Check!	Part of the world-saving Nakama. And they've known each other for a long time.	They're both orphans. She never knew her parents and his mother died telling him the world would've been better if he'd never been born. Yes, family is a theme.	Complicated. He's the Chosen and an aristocratic, she's the next in line to become the chief of the ninja village.	Sheena has a big crush on the game's Oblivious Hero. Biiig crush.	Tons. Each is a Death Seeker at one point or another, y'know?

This seems a bit too neat for me not to think there's not some subconcious arranging going on.
