Yet it's not exactly 'fell in love with'. It was background (and it still is, but I generally don't feel right if they're not shipped together or on-the-way-of-being) so it probably doesn't count as passionate, but...
The pairing you never expected to love as much as you do now: Harry/Snape. I'd give anything to remember how I went into that. It's been my OTP for at least three years and half, and I can't remember what got me into it for the life of me.
Oh, and Remus/Sirius too, because it's been a background-OTP of mine for the longest time and it's only become foreground with OotP, after a loooong, two years long, absence.
The pairing everyone else loves that you don't: ? Define 'everyone'? Er, the pesky bigstream ships that contradict my bigstream ships. Things like Harry/Draco, Harry/Hermione, Snape/Draco...
The pairing you love that everyone else hates/not enough other people love: Not 'love' as such. I'm pretty mainstream. But it'd be oh-so-nice to have more Ted/Andromeda fics... (you know. Those that fit my vision of them. I'm a possessive little bugger, I am.)
The pairing you used to love but don't any longer: Harry/Lucius. I had this phase about two years ago, that lasted six months... *sigh* It was really passionate and sensual and there was not enough hours in the night, but it was bound to end. We're still good friends, still, and sometimes we get a grope for old times' sake...
