Shipping meme - Day 1

Day 01 - What is your current favourite ship?
That's a tough question. I don't feel in much of a current-shipping mood right now. I've ben watching TV shows recently (more TV shows than I have ever watched, in my whole life - Merlin and Leverage and White Collar and some Bones), and they haven't reached the stage where I go FANDOMFANDOMOMGFANDOM for more than a few days. They're not ingrained deeply enough for me to feel all honest by pointing at any of the pairings I ship in them and say 'here's my current favourite', but at the same time my brain isn't eaten away by my older ships either. Not mentioning the fact that some of my older ships are certainly going to make an appearance in the rest of the days.
Still, among these new-sorta-fandoms/canons, the closest I can think of is Parker/Hardison. They are insanely cute and quirky. I usually don't go for the cute ships, much the same way I don't usually go for the cute characters - I like ships and characters best when they're fucked-up and tragic and balls of angst. It's different with Leverage, because I don't watch the show for the drama, I watch it for the humor and the fact that it's excellent TV that doesn't take the audience for morons. The fact that it hits my Robin Hood paradigm is not coincidental to my pure love for the show either.
Anyway, the ship: they are cute and amazing and funny like hell, and they subvert gender dynamics along the way as well. I love them because it manages to hit my unrequited kink while simultaneously not being actually unrequited. I love them because I adore relationships that mix shippiness and gen, and they are right in the middle of it.
(I'm also gonna say Bruce/Jason, because I spent the past week obsessing about comics and what comics to buy while in London, and that means a very large portion of my brain has reverted to Bruce/Jason-OTPiiiiiiiii time.)
