There actually was a story behind Ino's one and Hanabi's one, so I'd tried to write it with all the details I had in mind, but it'd have required me to think over Neji's, and anyway it didn't really work the way short did. >_>
...I'll see if I can make a quick ficlet out of the scenes I have in my head. (Mostly it had to do with Ino trying to build Hinata's self-confidence up, though the make-out session was not planned.)
OroKabu thingie: I was thinking in terms of symbolism of birthdates blahblah and Kabuto rejecting his real birthdate as a symbol for the one Orochimaru made him his servant, and so becoming purely Orochimaru's creature.
Thought: Kabuto acts on it by pulling a move on Orochimaru, who just made his get born as his. Symbolical incest. 0_0
KabuHina kids: but she's so easy to TERRORISE with eeeeeeet.
