And now, at the stage where trying to restart the comp gets A HUGE LOUD BEEPING, I am forced to admit defeat until tomorrow. (It is 3:30 in the morning, you understand, and I'm at the moment holed up in the apartment of people who are getting out of bed at 6 to get to work.)

So I'll try to fix this Sunday, and if not Sunday then hopefully by the end of the week. *wry smile*
