runespoor1. I don't get how so many people hate Strauss. I think she's awesome.
(Also, is it just me or is there more or more Strict Female Bosses characters around these days? Which is nice because authority represented by women is a refreshing change, but it's also a secondary sort of role, so they don't get a lot of screentime and I'm afraid it might be used by hypocritical show-makers as "let's put a woman there so there are women, but we just happen to be focusing on men".
This isn't a problem I have with CM, of course. Though I did only start watching again because JJ and Emily are back.)
2. Less shooting, show. You've been kind of trigger happy for the past year, and I really wish that would change back.
3. 7x02: ...not sure whether my discomfort with the ep is because of serious fail on their side, or because of ingrained ableism on mine.
Also, while we're at it and this also ties up with 2.: one thing I think they could be better at would be being more diverse even if it's not The Point. Not necessarily in their casting, main cast aside; they're decent when it comes to CoTW, I think. But in the scripts; come on, writers, it should be doable to have once a homosexual couple for neighbours; Or mixed-race couples. Or to have a victim be queer but that have nothing to do with why they were killed (wrong time wrong place ).
4. What is shipping? I mean, I usually ship the hell out of things. Aside from Morgan/Garcia, which I think I endgame, but I don't want to read fics about them. I don't want to read shipping fic, and I barely want to read fic period. I want to read meta.
But yeah, CM = my gen lurkdom.
