I think my issues with Tim owe a lot - no, more than that - to the fact that my favourite character is Bruce (and when I say that, I do mean 'favourite' as in 'favourite, ever) and that makes me petty and defensive and twitch when we go into Tim-Drake-as-Batman territory. Yeah, those issues. :/ I'm not proud of it.
The rest of my issues is that I don't get him as well as others - I don't know what makes him tick and I have no idea what his buttons are. Do you have ideas on that?
Tim, more than any other character except Steph, is only a Hero in the capital-letter sense because he works at it, constantly, and that endears him to me. It does to me as well. :D I'll keep that wording in mind.
I read his fight against Shiva on scans_daily when it was still around - I was a little annoyed at what they made him use, but I agree that Tim Was Awesome. Yes, he would have.
Okay, I'm going to keep your recs in mind. Oooh, snark. Snark is an easy way to make me like a character, so I'm probably going to look that way first. I'll look at the others as well.
