Internet is up and working again. Amen.

I just got my very first flame. For a fic that I posted more than a year ago on the Pit. The flame is as follows: "I'm sorry, this is stupid." I can't say I disagree. I wrote it under severe sleep-deprivation, and it was a somehow expressionist-y Lily/Lucius piece. I certainly wouldn't write it now, but I still rather like it (in a thank-god-it's-done way). It was mostly an attempt to prove to myself that I could work on something even if I suffered from the Writer'sBlockFromHell on my dying WIP.

Now I'm wondering. I'm feeling frustrated. I'd have loved to discuss with that girl, just to know what she found stupid. But, alas. Flamers are rarely constructive.

I'm also feeling frustrated because, dammit. I wanted my first flame to be The Real Flame, with lots of exclamation marks and '1's between them, with capslock and lack of spelling, and, and... Honestly, I wasn't asking for much. A simple "U SUCK!!11" would have done it. Alas. My fandom let me down.
