OhmysweetSlytherinlord. I've just discovered I'm liking Sirius again. Something I haven't done since something like a month before GoF was published. *headdesk* What, just what is wrong with me, aside from the fact that I'm too sleep-deprived to deny the first word of it?

... I think it might have something to do with the fact that I'm currently suffering from a craving of Remus/Sirius fics. Usually, they're my OTP, but, y'know, it's more of a... background OTP. And I swear it has nothing to do with the PoA thing.

One day I shall bravely scrape together my rants and pretend it's a review.

(In fact, the fact that I now like Sirius again has to do with me willfully deciding, the day before the release, that I wasn't disliking him anymore, just to give Oldman a chance. How did I end up "hating" Sirius again?... Oh, right. Snape fangirl with no understanding of shades of grey, excepting when it should apply to hot-headed Gryffindors. *snorts* talk about double standards...)

I also came to the realisation I really don't trust JKR. At all. I'm hungrily reading HP essay after HP essay, and everytime I come across a great theory or analysis, my insides just kinda twist. Because I can't help but think that she hasn't thought it through, at all, and that we're really setting things too high. I'm terrorised about book 6. OotP was my favorite book. (incidentally, it was the book I liked Sirius best.) She just can't live it up. Plus I'm frightened about the PoA-length thing.

Plus side: some of those theories also explain some possible flints. (btw, I liked her explanation of the Flint one.)

I'm feeling like an ovni on the fandom. I've just realised my reading material covers things from SQ up to [livejournal.com profile] gmth or [livejournal.com profile] amanuensis1 .
