You're right, there's a story between Neji and Hinata (mostly Hinata, really) - I'm just not sure I'll ever get around to writing it. I started to write this a while ago when I was thinking it was going to be a series, but I've completely lost my motivation. :/

Still, Neji's reactiosn here were mostly because he was having a bit of fun at their expense. The trio looked very much like 'kids' to him, and he thought getting to Sasuke would be hilarious.
